Longchamp

Jean Cassegrain inherited his family’s tobacco shop in 1948. Being the savvy businessman that he was, Jean covered the pipes in leather to create a unique luxury good. As demand increased he knew he needed to settle on a name. While walking by a horse race track called Longchamp, Jean decided that this was the perfect name. Eventually the brand would expand into the leather goods and accessories line that we know today.
